Reaching Out

For the past three years Gilda’s Club Seattle has been expanding its Program offerings out into the larger community. Our goal is to serve as many people touched by cancer in ways, and settings, that will be the most meaningful to them. It is also an opportunity to raise awareness about Gilda’s Club with greater numbers of people. Part of our philosophy is to look for the unmet needs in the cancer community and to create programs and activities to meet those needs. We believe that people create connections with each other and build their own support networks with people in their communities – be that schools, the workplace, or other medical facilities outside of Seattle. People find comfort, support, and education through connecting with others in similar situations.

If you would like to bring cancer resources and education to high schools, the workplace, or to a community that is underserved, please browse this section of the site.
