Club Activities

Sign up for activities at least 24 hours in advance. If you cannot attend cancel at least 24 hours in advance (if possible).  Out of respect for our instructors and members, we want to give 24 hours notice if scheduled events are cancelled or if number of attendees changes. Please stay at home if you're not feeling well. We don't get sick and you get better.

ACTIVITIES

CAMP SPARKLE

A week-long day camp, 9:30am to 4:00 pm, for kids ages 5-13 touched by cancer.

Please call the Clubhouse for more information and to register.

June 22-26 in Seattle. June 13-17 in Seattle. August 10-14 in Tacoma at the STARCenter.

Cooking Through Cancer

Join us for a cooking class series that each features a nutrition lecture and a live cooking demonstration. Classes will be taught by authors, Lisa Price, ND and Susan Gins, MA, MS, CN of a recently published book "Cooking Through Cancer Treatment to Recovery."

September 12th - Making Breakfast Count
*Optional trip to Madison market at 9:00am
September 15th - Refueling Midday
September 26th - Making Nutritious Desserts
September 29th - Gathering Time
October 3rd - Cooking Through Cancer Treatment to Recovery

"The Big Picture of Cancer Survivorship . . because there is more to dealing with cancer than just killing cancer cells" with Dan Labriola, ND, 7:00-8:30 pm.The key elements of cancer survivorship will be addressed including the "new normal," supportive care, recognizing and coping with the myriad of treatment side effects, emotional issues, sexuality, exercise and nutrition, cancer prevention, and resources.
