12:00 p - Expressive Arts Studio
Join us for an ongoing three-hour studio class designed by Chau Huynh, MFA, for the purpose of utilizing art as a tool to express one’s inner voice and communicate to the outside world. Making art has the power to heal - emotionally and mentally. Through a variety of techniques and concepts, a person with no art background can make art! This is an excellent opportunity to express yourself in a different voice, learn new skills, have some fun, and make meaning of your experiences

6:30 p - Parents of Children with Cancer Support Group at Ronald McDonald House
For parents of children with cancer in partnership with Children's Hospital. *You must be a Gilda's Club member, and have completed a CMP, to be assigned a group. Meets the first and third Thursdays of the month from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at the Ronald McDonald House.
6:30 p - Alumni Group at Overlake*
For adults who have lost a loved one to cancer. *You must be a Gilda's Club member, and have completed a CMP, to be assigned a group. Meets the first and third Thursday of each month. 6:30 pm - 8:30 pm. Please call (206)709-1400 for more information. Meets at the Overlake Medical Center.
6:45 p - Lecture: Treatment Summaries & Survivorship Care Planning
Debra Loacker, RN, will provide an overview of the valuable information provided in cancer treatment summary and survivorship care plan, and Patricia Read-Williams, MD, will share her perspectives as a primary care provider on the importance of these documents in the care provided to cancer survivors.
